The construction of the building began in 1993.

The Museum was opened for general public in 1997.

Surprisingly interesting. Visitors can explore a submarine that achieved success during a time of conflict and go on board a minesweeper and what was a maritime patrol aircraft. The museum includes some scientific experiments and a traditional dhow.
